Colombian federation learnt good news. Jorge Iván Pérez Roldán should be formalized as a member of the International Race Committee. In the same week, Colombia got the organization of the U20 rink-hockey World Championship back.

The first day of the Assembly meeting of the International Commission, the Colombian Federation of Skating, led by its President Alberto Ayala Herrera, denounced the arbitrary decision taken by the President of the International Commission to refuse the organization to Colombia and to assign it to Germany.

According to Herrera Ayala himself, the formal decision is expected in the coming days.

"That's true, they we were refused the organization of this event in an arbitrary manner, and we managed to get it back. We are waiting for the official letter from the FIRS. [...] We managed to make our voices heard and to argue the restitution of our violated and raped rights" the official said.
