Today is the election of the three sports that will be eligible for inclusion to the 2020 Olympic Games. IOC President, Jacques Rogues talked to the delegates of the convention at the opening ceremony in St. Petersburg (Russia). In the afternoon, the IOC will hear the presentations from eight sports candidates for inclusion in the Olympic program in 2020: baseball / softball, karate, roller sports, climbing, squash, wakeboard and wushu. The Executive Board will then decide which sports will be eligible for inclusion in the 125th Games.
