Men's RollerDerby World Cup 2018 looks like it's going to be the biggest one yet – with 25 countries invited to take part. Four new national squads have invited to take part – the Philippines, Denmark, Poland and New Zealand – taking the total higher than Calgary 2016 and Birmingham 2014.
Chair of the MRDWC Board of Directors, Adam 'Stat Man' Roush, said:
"The 2018 Men's Roller Derby World Cup is going to be even bigger and better than ever, and it's great that we will have new countries – from all over the globe – taking part.
"The growing number of men's national teams shows how the sport is continuing to grow and move into new countries.
"We can't wait to see our new and returning squads take to the track in Barcelona and we know that the crowds at MRDWC2018 will be in for a good four days."
